The former wife of Tiger Woods purchased the home in early 2011 for $12 million, after reaching a whopping $100 million settlement in the couple's divorce case.

It's certainly been a long time coming, but it appears that construction on Elin Nordegren's dream home is finally reaching the home stretch.

In aerial shots taken over the weekend of the impressive $20 million North Palm Beach, Florida mansion, the roof is now in place and the pool has gone in.

The Swedish former model is currently living in the house opposite with her two children - daughter Sam, five, and son Charlie, four - which she purchased for a cool $4.25 million, while she overseas construction on her new pad.

Demolishing the existing 17,000-square-foot 1920s building the following January, which wasn't up to current hurricane safety codes, construction got underway soon after on creating a luxurious 21,000-square-foot mansion.

The expansive nine-room, eight-bathroom property reportedly features a movie theatre, wine room, Koi pond, spa and gym.

Photographs also show that the two-storey beachfront abode boats a sizable swimming pool and what looks to be a generous guest house.

The grounds are flanked by lush tropical palm trees, while a private staircase leads from what will surely be a beautifully landscaped garden directly onto the pristine white-sand beach.
